About the Designs

Zweigart interlocking canvas has been used for the designs painted on 7, 10, 12, 14 & 18 mesh canvas. Zweigart super mono canvas is used for the designs painted on 13 mesh canvas. Most designs can be painted on your choice of canvas size.

Measurements shown represent painted area of the design. Each canvas has a 2" border around the design (more can be added on request at a nominal charge). Being a stitcher myself I know how important proper placement of colour on the canvas can be. Whenever possible, I paint to line.

Animals: No matter whether you're young or old, animals always make you smile.

Nautical: The International Code Flags are well known to all boating enthusiasts and each flag represents the 26 letters of the alphabet. I have taken these flags and arranged them into 'sayings'. The "Guiding Light" canvas shown above spells the words 'guiding light' around the lighthouse. Because these designs are simple and painted exactly to line, decorative stitches work beautifully. Florals: Who is more beautiful than Mother Nature. The floral and nature canvases are always a pleasure to stitch. These canvases are designed for those who like a more traditional design with a fresh new look.
